Liam Gallagher subbed after 20 minutes shock … but he was knackered, anyway!

Liam Gallagher, the former “Oasis” star, played in a charity match in Juventus Stadium on Tuesday night.

How did the invitation come about? 초대는 어떻게 받게 되었나?
The invitation to take part came from an old friend of mine Andrea Dulio who used to work for Sony Italy whom I knew throughout the Oasis era.

Which players impressed you most during the game? 경기를 하는 동안 어떤 선수가 가장 인상 깊었는가?
Obviously, Alessandro Del Piero and Pavel Nedved.

What was said in the half-time team talk? 하프 타임의 팀 대화에서는 무슨 말이 오갔는가?
I’m not sure what was said at half time as I was on the piss around that time as I was substituted 20 minutes into the game much to my delight as I was fucked – ha ha.
그 때는 시간낭비 하고 있느라 하프 타임에 뭐라고 했었는지는 잘 모르겠다. 나는 게임한 지 20분만에 좆돼서 강판되고 말았는데 그냥 엄청 기뻤다 – 하하.
Did you train (much) ahead of this game? 이 게임을 위해 훈련을 (많이) 했었는가?
I do run most days but I haven’t had a proper kickabout since 1999.
난 매일 달리는 편이지만 1999년 이후로는 제대로 돌아다녀 본 적은 없었다.
What was it like to play in such a magnificent stadium? 이런 거대한 스타디움에서 경기를 하는 것은 어떤 기분이었는가?
Well, I’ve played a few in my time with the mighty Oasis but never football. I must say I was a little nervous in front of 45,000 crazy Italians.
음, 나는 위대한 오아시스와 함께할 적엔 이런 곳에서 공연을 몇 번 한 적은 있었지만 축구를 해본 적은 없었다. 4만 5천이나 되는 미친 이탈리아인들 앞에 서는 건 조금은 긴장되는 일이었다고 말해둬야겠다.
However, it was an honour to be asked to play, as it was such a great cause and Juventus stadium is nearly as good as MCFC’s.
그렇지만, 경기에 참여할 수 있었던 것은 내게는 영광이었고, 그 또한 (이 경기에 참가한) 가장 큰 이유였기도 했고 유벤투스 스타디움은 거의 맨체스터 시티의 경기장만큼 좋은 곳인 거 같다.

The eldest Gallagher sibling has been DJing on Noel’s solo tour dates recently.
갤러거 삼형제의 맏형은 최근 노엘의 솔로 투어에서 디제잉을 해왔다.
But he believes it won’t be long before Liam, 42, is back in the frame. Paul, 48, said: “I speak to the pair of them, I see Liam every other day.

Paul Gallagher

Paul is a major influence on his brothers, getting Andy Bell in Oasis and introducing guitarist Jeff Wootton to Noel, 47.
폴은 형제들에게 가장 큰 영향을 끼치는 인물이며, 앤디 벨을 오아시스에 참여하게 하고 노엘에게 기타리스트 제프 우튼을 소개해주기도 하였다.
But he’s pretty scathing about Noel’s solo career. Paul told the Stage Left podcast: “Noel is a frontman now but he’s not a frontman, he’s a sideman being a frontman. There’s more than getting up and singing to being a frontman.

Paul isn’t keen on Noel’s latest solo album. He laughed: “I bought it to slag it off. Not my cuppa tea, I like things a bit more up.

It comes on the day Liam accused Noel of plotting his exit years before they split.
