Upcoming Oasis documentary film gets title, release info

The upcoming Oasis documentary film from the makers of Amy and Senna has been given a title and release schedule.

영화 Amy와 Senna의 제작자들이 선사하는 다가올 오아시스 다큐멘터리 영화의 제목과 개봉 스케줄이 발표됐다.

Named after the band’s debut single ‘Supersonic‘, the movie has been set for a cinema release in October. It will follow the Oasis story from their earliest days in Manchester before signing to Creation Records in 1993, through their rapid rise to becoming the biggest band in the world by the time they played two nights at Knebworth Park in the summer of 1996.

밴드의 데뷔 싱글 앨범을 딴 영화 ‘Supersonic’은, 올해 10월 중 개봉될 예정이다. 이 영화는 오아시스가 1993년 크리에이션 레코드와 계약하기 전 맨체스터에서 보낸 초기 시절부터 시작해, 가파른 상승세를 타고 당대의 세계에서 가장 큰 밴드가 되어 1996년 여름날 넵워스 공원에서 두 번의 공연을 하기까지의 이야기를 다룬다.

“The love and the vibe and the  passion and the rage and the joy that are coming from the crowd, if anything, that’s what Oasis was,” Noel Gallagher says.

“관객들로부터 전해져 오는 그 사랑과 분위기, 열정, 분노, 그리고 기쁨, 그 밖에 그 어떤 것이든, 그것이 바로 오아시스였다.” 노엘 갤러거가 말했다.

“Oasis was definitely like a Ferrari, great to look at, great to drive and it will spin out of control every now and again when you go too fast,” frontman Liam Gallagher adds. “I loved every minute of it.”

“오아시스는 분명 페라리 같은 존재였다, 보기에 아주 멋지고, 드라이브 나가기도 좋은 데다 속도를 높이는 매 순간마다 항상 통제를 넘어서 튀어 나간다.” 프론트맨 리암 갤러거가 덧붙였다. “나는 그런 매 순간을 사랑했다.”
